The drive across the backbone of the Himalaya is truy spectacular. The amazing light of the Tibetan Plateau is a photographer's dream as we cross a number of high passes, including the Lagpa La at 5220m. We stop at the interesting towns of Gyantse and Shigatse and see spectacular views of Everest and Cho Oyu. A visit to the north face of Everest is a highlight of the tour that is reached on a long day from Shegar. Finally we descend to the Sunkosi river in Nepal to complete a tour of high adventure.
